Robert Mizrachi

Robert Mizrachi is the oldest of four brothers, and is credited with establishing what has become known as the Mizrachi poker dynasty. His younger brother, Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi, is considered one of the greats, and is the current World Poker Tour champion, while Michael’s twin brother Eric is also a professional poker player.

Robert was a poker dealer at a South Miami Casino before turning professional himself. He taught Michael how to play the game.

World Series of Poker Robert Mizrachi

Mizrachi cashed 3 times at the 2005 World Series of Poker (WSOP), including a 4th place at the $1 500 Limit Hold’em tournament, where he picked up over $40 000.

The 2007 WSOP saw Mizrachi reach three final tables and pick up his first WSOP bracelet in the $10,000 World Championship Pot Limit Omaha event, claiming a pot of $768 889.

At the 2007 WSOP Main Event, Mizrachi came 357th, winning $34 664.

Over the course of his career, he has cashed 11 times at the WSOP, winning a total of $967 467 in prize money.

World Poker Tour And Other Poker Tournaments

Mizrachi’s focus on World Poker Tour (WPT) Tournaments saw him have a successful 2006, as he finished 2nd in the Bellagio $1 500 No Limit Hold’em tournament and reached his first main event final table, placing 6th.

Altogether, Mizrachi has reached 12 final tables on the WPT.

As of 2007, his total live tournament winnings come to over $2.5 million.
